Where: Tim Hortons, 407 March Rd, Kanata, ON (March at Carling)
Let’s meet at Tim Hortons on March Road and Carling next to the Ultramar gas station at 8:30am. Briefing starts at 8:45 and kick stands up at 9 am with full tanks and empty bladders.
We will follow the Ottawa River then cut across towards Eganville and stopping at the Bonnechere caves. Let’s visit the caves (optional - $20 per person - $2 off coupon available online). From the caves, we will stop for lunch at the Axe and Paddle restaurant in Eganville just a short distance away.
After lunch, the group decides if we head towards Whelan road, the 511, Tatlock and end in Almonte for ice cream OR, if we go back through Burnstown, Packenham, Blakeney and to Almonte for ice cream. Either way, we are having ice cream around 2 or 3 o'clock.
There will be no 400 series highways on this ride, but their will be some twisties depending on the group’s skill. This will be a level 3-4 difficulty ride.
